Relatient Achieves HITRUST Recertification for Flagship Dash Platform
The recertification demonstrates Relatient’s commitment to upholding stringent security standards in an evolving healthcare technology landscape
Relatient, the leading patient scheduling platform, has once again achieved i1 certified status from HITRUST for cybersecurity and information protection for its flagship solution, Dash®. The intelligent scheduling platform initially attained HITRUST certification in 2022 and has consistently met recertification standards since.
As demand for patient access solutions and intelligent tools rises, healthcare organizations must ensure technology partners have standards and protections in place to safeguard provider and patient data. Relatient’s ongoing certification process, including compliance with other industry standards like HIPAA, validates the organization’s dedication to providing partners with the tools to confidently and safely serve patients. This helps partners improve operations while maintaining high standards for patient care.
“Recertification reflects the discipline behind our security program, the controls we test, the evidence we document and the reviews we pass year after year,” shared David Edwards, Chief Technology Officer at Relatient. “That work is anchored in the fundamental principles of confidentiality, integrity and availability, and it protects the thousands of patients and healthcare organizations that rely on our platform every day.”
The HITRUST recertification demonstrates that Relatient’s assessed environment has met the applicable requirements of the HITRUST CSF and Assurance Program, providing independent assurance that appropriate controls are implemented to protect sensitive information and manage cybersecurity risk. The certification process includes validation by an authorized independent third-party assessor, followed by centralized HITRUST quality assurance and certification review. HITRUST’s Cyber Threat-Adaptive model also helps keep its control requirements aligned with evolving real-world threats, while the HITRUST CSF harmonizes requirements across a broad range of recognized standards, regulations, and industry best practices, including NIST and ISO frameworks.
