Coforge Emerges as a Standout Non-Linear Growth Leader in HFS Research Assessment
- Recognition reflects Coforge’s above-industry-average performance in revenue per FTE and operating margin per FTE
- HFS Research cites Coforge's AI-led delivery model, outcome-based AI Mod Squads, high utilization, low attrition, and acquisition synergies as key drivers of sustained non-linear growth.

Coforge recognised as a leader in HFS Non-Linearity Index for CY Q4 2025 and Q1 2026
In a two series point of view report (the first edition of the report was published in early 2026), this is the second report titled ‘The headcount era is fading as the pivot to Services-as-Software continues’; HFS argues that the industry's long-standing reliance on linear growth was beginning to face meaningful pressure. Additionally, a trend has emerged that some providers are beginning to decouple value creation from workforce expansion.
Within this shift, HFS identified six providers that demonstrated sustained non-linear growth over the past four quarters. Coforge is one of six service providers identified by HFS Research as consistently driving non-linear growth over the last four quarters. The recognition reflects Coforge’s ability to increase value creation and operating leverage while increasingly decoupling growth from traditional headcount-led models.
Saurabh Gupta, President, HFS Research, said: "The move from Challenger to Leader reflects Coforge's ability to deliver sustained non-linear growth at a time when the services industry is redefining how value is created. Six consecutive quarters on the HFS Non-Linearity Index is evidence that the company is increasingly decoupling growth from traditional linear models through AI, reusable platforms, and disciplined execution. Coforge Nuuron provides the operational foundation for this transformation, while Momentuum blue is helping build the AI-native talent and delivery models required for the future. Combined with a growing emphasis on outcome-based pricing, these investments position Coforge at the forefront of the industry's shift toward Services-as-Software."
Over the last four quarters, Coforge has been positioned twice in the Non-Linear Leaders quadrant of the HFS Non-Linearity Index, reflecting performance above the industry average on both year-on-year constant-currency revenue per full-time employee (FTE) and operating margin per FTE. Sudhir Singh, CEO and Executive Director, Coforge, said, “Non-linear growth is about creating greater value without relying solely on adding capacity. Our sustained non-linear growth reflects how we are embedding AI across delivery and operations, and driving outcome-based delivery through our AI Mod Squads. HFS Research’s recognition validates the progress we are making in building a more scalable and differentiated operating model.”
Coforge’s AI capabilities are supported by more than 11,000 data and AI practitioners, alongside Coforge Nuuron, the AI Operation System, 8 AI platforms, 22 AI assets, and nearly 130 reusable AI agents and accelerators. These capabilities enable Coforge to apply increasing levels of AI and automation across delivery, helping clients modernize technology environments, improve operational performance and build new business capabilities. Momentuum blue, Coforge's specialized FDE operating unit, extends this by placing engineers directly inside client environments to build and ship AI solutions where the work happens. The recognition reinforces Coforge’s broader shift towards an AI-native, outcome-led model, where specialized expertise, reusable intellectual property, AI-enabled delivery, and technology-led productivity increasingly support scalable growth.
