Consor Acquires Peterson Structural Engineers
Consor North America, Inc. (“Consor”), a leading engineering and consulting firm advancing intelligent, future-ready infrastructure across water and transportation systems, today announced the acquisition of Peterson Structural Engineers, Inc. (“PSE”), a West Coast-based structural engineering and consulting firm with five decades of experience and deep expertise in water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure serving clients throughout the United States.
“PSE adds highly specialized structural engineering expertise to our differentiated service offerings in our key sectors, including water and wastewater,” said Hisham Mahmoud, Executive Chairman of Consor. “This is an especially meaningful addition because our relationship with PSE spans more than 40 years and more than 500 water and municipal infrastructure projects. With our shared values and culture, and the longstanding partnership between our firms, this combination positions us well to create more value for our clients and opportunities for our people.”
“Our teams have worked side by side on complex water infrastructure projects for many years, making this a natural next step,” said Travis McFeron, President and Chief Executive Officer of PSE. “What stood out to us was the alignment between our firms and a shared commitment to our people, our clients, and the quality of our work. Joining Consor allows us to maintain the culture and reputation that have defined PSE’s history while giving our clients access to a broader range of expertise and the resources needed to support complex projects from planning through delivery."
Morrissey Goodale, a specialized management consulting and research firm exclusively serving the architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting industries, initiated the transaction and advised Peterson Structural Engineers, Inc.
