REPEAT: Aimia seeks listing on AIM market in London next month
Aimia Inc - Toronto-based diversified conglomerate - Says it has applied for a listing on the AIM market in London. Expects to start trading on AIM on or about September 9, subject to necessary approvals. Aimia has a primary listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange and a secondary presence on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. It listed in Johannesburg in February.
"Consistent with our strategy and focus of enhancing shareholder value, we have explored becoming AIM quoted and believe that it will enhance our liquidity, attract new investors, and facilitate making investments in target companies," Aimia Chair Rhys Summerton says.
