Short-Term Debt

Short-term debt is the sum of the carrying values on the balance sheet date. Debt with a maturity of less than one year is considered short-term.

Short-term debt includes notes payable, bonds payable, mortgage loans, convertible debt, subordinated debt, and other types of short-term debt.Note: We've updated our methodology to include items in the notes of financial statements that are considered "other" in the balance sheet.
