Adjusted Expense Ratio

An adjusted expense ratio excludes certain variable investment-related expenses, such as interest from borrowings and dividends on borrowed securities. It includes acquired fund fees and expenses when a fund uses a fund-of-funds structure. The ratio comes from the fund's prospectus. This allows for more consistent cost comparisons across funds.
