Leisure

What is leisure?

Leisure is money spent by investors on items or activities that bring them joy. Leisure or guilt-free spending is a common category when creating a budget.

When investors create budgets, they often think of big expenses first: rent, food, and transportation. Once their income is allocated to finance these, they may consider smaller-ticket categories like leisure spending. This includes guilt-free purchases on items or activities they want to buy. The amount leisure spending allocated in a budget often varies between investors.
