On Feb. 17, 2023, Vanguard announced that William Coleman has been promoted to a leadership role and will no longer comanage the LifeStrategy series. He will be replaced by Roger Aliaga-Diaz, Michael Roach, and Aurelie Denis. All three were already contributing to the series, with Aliaga-Diaz being a key contributor to the research and asset allocation of this series. Roach and Denis joined the firm in 1998 and 2016, respectively, and Roach now oversees the management of multi-asset products in the newly created head of Multi-Asset Portfolio Management role. A team-based approach, continuity of senior management, and the new comanagers’ appropriate credentials eliminate concern over the change. The strategy maintains its Above Average People rating and Morningstar Analyst Rating of Silver across all shares.
