Stock Analyst Note

BridgeBio Pharma reported net revenue of $110.6 million in the second quarter. Attruby sales totaled $71.5 million, with 3,751 unique prescriptions written to date. However, the company missed FactSet EPS consensus by $0.16, causing shares to tumble 10% on Aug. 6.
Stock Analyst Note

No-moat BridgeBio Pharma reported strong first-quarter results, driven by better-than-expected commercial success of its key asset Attruby, which generated $36.7 million in sales in the period. The results were well received by investors, with shares rising about 8% in after-hours trading. To reflect faster market penetration and a steeper near-term launch trajectory, we are increasing our fair value estimate to $41 per share from $36. At the current market price, we view the shares as fairly valued.
Stock Analyst Note

No-moat BridgeBio reported fourth-quarter results that were largely in line with our expectations. Investors have reacted positively to BridgeBio’s recent developments and have sent the stock up 30% year to date, moving into 3-star territory close to our $36 fair value estimate. Attruby, an oral drug for ATTR-CM, is off to a strong start after it received approval in the US in November 2024. As of Feb. 17, 1,028 unique patient prescriptions for Attruby have been written by 516 distinct prescribers. It also received approval under the name Beyonttra in the EU on Feb. 10, resulting in a $75 million milestone payment from its partner Bayer and tiered royalties in the low-30s percentage range on EU sales.
Stock Analyst Note

BridgeBio's acoramidis, set to be marketed as Attruby, has secured approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy. We adjusted our model to account for the approval (previously a 90% probability of approval in our base case), and we have made a modest upward revision to our patient growth projections in the later years. This resulted in an increase of our fair value estimate to $36.40, up from $35.20. Investors sent shares of no-moat BridgeBio surging by 16% on this news.
Stock Analyst Note

No-moat BridgeBio reported soft third-quarter results that generally aligned with our expectations for an early-stage biotech firm. After reviewing our model, we are slightly decreasing our fair value estimate by 4% to $35.20 per share from $36.70 due to a slow ramp-up of sales for acoramidis in the near term. However, shares appear undervalued at the current market price.
Stock Analyst Note

We have initiated coverage of BridgeBio Pharma, a biotechnology firm focused on discovering and delivering transformative medicine for genetic diseases. We assign the firm a no-moat rating due to the substantial risk of value destruction, as a significant portion of its valuation hinges on one pipeline candidate, acoramidis. The shares appear undervalued against our $36.70 fair value estimate.
