Company Report

Siemens Healthineers has established a formidable presence in imaging and radiotherapy through the acquisition of Varian. Now, it is refocusing its diagnostic operations, the weakest piece among otherwise remarkably strong businesses. While we aren't sanguine about the prospect of returning growth and profitability of diagnostics to the level of its closest peers, we view Healthineers’ overall product portfolio, market presence, growth, and margins as among the best in medical technology.
Stock Analyst Note

Siemens Healthineers reported 2.8% organic sales growth in its fiscal third quarter, but continued pressure in diagnostics led to a second cut to its full-year revenue outlook. A one-off US tariff refund lifted quarterly profitability and prompted a EUR 0.15 increase in full-year EPS guidance.
Stock Analyst Note

Siemens Healthineers reported 3.1% organic sales growth but deteriorating conditions in the diagnostics segment in its fiscal second quarter. The company slightly lowered its 2026 guidance as it sees ongoing weakness in this segment. Shares were down by midsingle digits after the earnings release.

Stock Analyst Note

Wide-moat Siemens Healthineers reported solid fourth-quarter fiscal 2024 results with revenue reaching EUR 6.3 billion, comparable growth of 5.6%. Investors responded positively with shares rising over 8% at the market’s opening on Nov. 6. While China declined by midsingle digits, other geographies delivered strong growth. Healthineers’ fiscal 2025 outlook is robust 5%-6% revenue growth and margin expansion across all segments, which is in line with our model. We maintain our fair value estimate of EUR 61 per share and view shares as undervalued.
