Lear Earnings: Good Quarter Yields Profit and EPS Growth

Lear’s third-quarter earnings saw adjusted EPS up 33% year over year to $3.71, ahead of the $3.37 LSEG consensus and helping the stock rise 0.9% on Oct. 30. Core operating earnings increased 6.1%, and the firm repurchased $175 million of stock to meet its full-year spending goal of $350 million.
