Eastman Chemical Earnings: Trending Recovery, Revised DOE Grant Adds Less Value; Shares Undervalued

Eastman Chemical reported third-quarter results; sales rose 8% year over year and adjusted EBIT rose 45%, which lifted margin 4 points to 13%. Eastman also announced that the Department of Energy has reinstated its $375 million grant for a 30% expansion of the Kingsport molecular recycling facility.
