Delta Air Lines Earnings: Higher Airfares on Flat Capacity Boost Revenue; Shares Remain Overvalued

Delta earned 14% less operating profit on 21% more revenue and flat capacity in the third quarter compared with 2025. Salaries increased 9% since last year, while fuel expenses climbed 69%. Higher airfares drove Delta's premium cabin sales up 18% and economy seating up 12% versus 2025.
