Crispr Earnings: Casgevy Gains Traction as Commercial Hurdles Begin to Ease

Crispr Therapeutics and Vertex's gene therapy, Casgevy, continued to gain traction in the second quarter, generating $76 million in revenue. Crispr posted a net loss of $0.94 per share for the quarter, an improvement from a loss of $2.40 in the prior-year period. Shares jumped 7% on Aug. 4.
