Mobile payments act as a high-frequency entry point to drive user engagement and merchant adoption. With approximately 73 million users and strong gross merchandise value growth, PayPay benefits from cross-side reinforcement, where more users attract merchants and vice versa, while vertical integration improves unit economics and take rates.
