Manulife is one of the Big Three Canadian life insurers, which collectively represent about 80% of the nation’s life insurance premiums. The firm’s current strategy focus is to continue reducing its risk profile, grow its Asian life insurance business and wealth management faster than other businesses, achieve better expense efficiency, and invest in digital capabilities.
