Tencent: From AI Laggard to AI Landlord of the WeChat Ecosystem; Shares Undervalued

The Financial Times reports Tencent is internally testing an artificial intelligence agent for the WeChat ecosystem, ahead of external user trials and a potential public launch as early as this month. Shares jumped 10% on the news, partially reversing a year-to-date decline of over 20%.
