Intertek is set to accept Swedish private equity firm EQT's takeover proposal of GBP 60 a share, representing a 60% premium over its April 9 closing price and a total deal value of GBP 9.2 billion. Shares have risen significantly, with Intertek now trading at GBP 55.00.
