Samsung's workers union will hold a strike on May 21, 2026, should the terms of its compensation demands not be met. This includes 15% sharing of operating profits, removal of bonus caps, and a 7% pay increase. The key obstacle is Samsung's refusal to formalize profit-sharing in contracts.
