Canfor Earnings: Iran War Adds More Burden to Already Challenged Market

Canfor's first-quarter adjusted loss per share of CAD 0.59 improved from the fourth-quarter's CAD 1.22 loss but nearly doubled from the year-ago loss of CAD 0.32. Lumber demand remains soft, and higher oil prices caused by the Iran war will not help housing construction demand.
