Vicinity Centres: In Good Stead as Shoppers' Mood Slumps

Vicinity saw solid retail sales in the March quarter. Total sales turnover grew by 3% year on year. Excluding luxury retail, which moderated in March amid higher living costs, sales increased 4%. Management reaffirmed guidance, but the broader consumer mood tells a gloomier story.
