Intertek Considers Separation of Testing and Energy Businesses, Driving Up Share Price

Intertek is mulling the potential sale or demerger of its energy assets, comprising its world of energy and industry and infrastructure segments. The testing assets, comprising consumer products, corporate assurance, and health and safety segments, would remain. Shares are up 13% on April 14.
