Unilever agreed to sell its food business, which houses Hellmann’s and Knorr, to McCormick for $44.8 billion, comprising $15.7 billion in cash plus a 65% stake in the combined entity for Unilever and its shareholders. Unilever shares fell around 7% following the announcement on March 31.
