Ecolab: CoolIT Acquisition Accelerates AI and Data Center Exposure and Growth for Water Business

Ecolab announced an agreement to acquire CoolIT Systems, a pure-play data center liquid cooling company, for $4.75 billion in cash. In the announcement, management also maintained its 2026 adjusted earnings per share guidance. Ecolab shares were down 1% at the time of writing on March 20.
