Hormel: Divestiture of Whole-Bird Turkey Business Looks Strategically Sound; Shares Undervalued

On Feb. 17, Hormel announced preliminary first-quarter results of 2% organic sales growth and the sale of its whole-bird turkey business to Life-Sciences Innovation. It also reaffirmed fiscal 2026 guidance of organic sales growth of 1%-4% and adjusted operating income growth of 4%-10%.
