China Suntien Green Energy Earnings: Softness in Renewables and Gas; Shares Overvalued

Suntien's cumulative nine-month net profit rose 4% year on year. The renewables business was affected by a 5% drop in the average tariff despite higher power generation. Gas segment sales volume declined 11%, due to a warm winter earlier this year and abundant LNG supply in China.
