Agilent Earnings: Revenue Growth Accelerates Beyond Estimates, but Profit Growth Still Mediocre

In the third quarter, Agilent reported 6% core revenue growth, exceeding management's previous guidance of 1.7%-3.6%, and adjusted earnings per share growth of 4% to $1.37, or on the high end of the firm's prior guidance range of $1.35-$1.37. Shares declined slightly in after-hours trading, though.
