Barrick Earnings: Solid, As Higher Gold Price More than Offsets Lower Volumes, Increased Unit Costs

Barrick's 2025 second-quarter adjusted net profit after tax of USD 800 million, or USD 47 cents per share, is up 44% on the same quarter of 2024. A 41% higher realized gold price more than offset 19% lower volumes and higher unit cash costs.
