Manulife reported slightly disappointing numbers for the second quarter as adjusted earnings came in at CAD 1.73 billion or CAD 0.95 per share, up 2% from a year ago. The firm also announced its all-cash $1.28 billion acquisition of Comvest Credit Partners.
