Yakult Earnings: Domestic Demand Remains Sluggish; Fair Value Estimate Lowered by 17%

Due to sluggish domestic sales, Yakult's fiscal first-quarter reported operating income dropped 35.8% from a year ago to JPY 10.9 billion. Management lowered operating income guidance for fiscal 2025 (ending March 2026) to JPY 53.5 billion from JPY 58.5 billion.
