Renesas Earnings: Muted Guidance Overshadows Upside From Japan Autos and Europe; Shares Cheap

Renesas' June-quarter revenue was JPY 325 billion, up 5% sequentially. Gross margin was flat from the prior quarter at 55.7%. Though June-quarter figures were above guidance, shares fell 5% as management remained cautious on the second-half outlook.
