Despite 14% operating revenue growth in the second quarter, Elevance's adjusted EPS declined 14% due to mismatched rates and utilization in its individual and Medicaid businesses. Management cut its 2025 EPS outlook by roughly 14% to about $30, and shares initially fell about 10% in July 17 trading.
