WPP: Cutting Valuation 14% on Pessimistic Guidance; Troubles Are Deeper Than Economic Turbulence

WPP announced that weaker net new business wins and client belt-tightening have hurt sales, prompting a reduction in 2025 expected like-for-like growth from about negative 1% to negative 4%. WPP also plans to reduce its headcount by 3.5%. Shares traded down approximately 16%.
