Brown-Forman grappled with softer demand for US whiskey and tequila as consumers became more cautious. Organic sales and operating profits rose 1% and 3%, respectively, in April-ended fiscal 2025, but the firm expects both metrics to fall in 2026. Shares fell 18% in June 5 trading.
