BMW Earnings: Underlying Auto Margins at Historic High Single Digits; Shares Deeply Discounted

The auto segment delivered a 6.9% margin at the top end of guidance, or 8.1% excluding the amortization of the BBA purchase price allocation. The European antisubsidy tariff on Chinese-made BEVs added low to three-digit million euro costs. Guidance is unchanged, including the 25% US auto tariff.
