Femsa Earnings: Mexican Headwinds Slowed Oxxo Traffic, but South America Fueled Bottling Growth

Femsa grew sales by 11% to MXN 196 billion in the first quarter of 2025. Operating profits rose 5%, as a 7% increase in bottling subsidiary Coke Femsa more than offset a 12% fall in the retail business in the Americas dominated by the Oxxo chain.
