AES reported 2024 operating earnings per share of $2.14, up from $1.76 in 2023. This was above management's earnings guidance of $1.87-$1.97. Adjusted EBITDA of $2.6 billion was at the low end of management's $2.6 billion-$2.9 billion guidance and down from $2.8 billion in 2023.
