Ingersoll Rand Earnings: Despite Slowdown in Orders, Self-Help Story Remains Intact

There were no major surprises in narrow-moat-rated Ingersoll Rand’s fourth-quarter earnings, as its full-year adjusted EPS of $3.29 came in line with our estimate. After rolling our model forward one year, we’ve raised our fair value estimate to $84 from $80, driven by our more optimistic midcycle margin assumptions and time value of money, partially offset by our slightly more muted near-term revenue growth outlook.
