Sysco Earnings: Shares Fall on Near-Term Local Case Volume and Inflation Headwinds

Sysco reported fiscal second-quarter results highlighted by 4.4% revenue growth. Still, shares were down 6% over concerns on lower local case volume in US foodservice and product cost inflation, as well as scepticism on the acceleration implied in guidance for the second half of fiscal 2025.
