Mettler-Toledo Earnings: Resilient Q3 Performance Amid Lingering Market Headwinds

Narrow-moat Mettler-Toledo reported solid third-quarter results that were largely in line with our expectations. Local currency sales grew by 1%, driven by strong performance in the laboratory segment, with particularly robust growth in the service business. Following these results, management reiterated its 2024 full-year guidance, projecting sales growth of 2%, and slightly raised its adjusted EPS outlook to a range of $40.35 to $40.50. After making modest adjustments to our near-term forecast, we are maintaining our $1,200 fair value estimate.
