Great-West reported solid results in the third quarter as base earnings came in at CAD 1.06 billion or CAD 1.14 per share, up 12% compared with CAD 0.95 billion or CAD 1.02 per share in the third quarter of the previous year. The results equated to an annualized base return on equity of 17.3%.
