Narrow-moat-rated Vontier’s stock closed up nearly 9% on Oct. 31 after the company reported third-quarter adjusted EPS of $0.73, beating the FactSet consensus estimate by $0.04. We’ve raised our fair value estimate to $42.50 from $40.50, which reflects our slightly more optimistic near-term revenue growth expectations, as retail fueling equipment sales have been trending above our expectations. We continue to see Vontier as modestly undervalued, with shares trading roughly 13% below our updated fair value estimate.
