Narrow-moat-rated Vontier’s first-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $0.74 came in above management's $0.68-$0.72 guidance range, thanks to improved profitability. We’ve raised our fair value estimate to $42.50 per share from $40, which reflects our slightly more optimistic operating margin assumptions as well as the time value of money.
