Scentre Group was created in mid-2014 by combining the Australian assets of the Westfield Group with those of Westfield Retail Trust. It is predominantly a passive rent collector, but also undertakes development activities, constructing new centres and redeveloping existing assets.

How we make money

Our investment management business generates asset-based fees, which are calculated as a percentage of assets under management. We also sell both admissions and sponsorship packages for our investment conferences and advertising on our websites and newsletters.
