JPMorgan Chase could white-label its infrastructure to small and midsize banks, such as a licensing fee to run digital payments on its Kinexys rail, generating further revenue diversification with margins resembling those for software as a service.
CEO Jamie Dimon’s eventual succession remains one of the largest keyman risks in the financial sector. Any sign of a leadership vacuum or a shift away from his fortress philosophy could lead to a significant valuation derating.
