Can I export my portfolio from Morningstar.com?

We currently have the capability to export your portfolio from Morningstar.com to use the data in desktop software or spreadsheet programs. You can export from both the Tracking view and Custom Views.

Click on the Portfolio link in the upper-left corner of our home page. If you have not already logged on to the site, you will be prompted to do so.
From the drop-down menu in the Portfolio Manager screen, choose the portfolio you wish to export.
Click the Export Current View link in your Portfolio Manager toolbar.

How we make money

Our investment management business generates asset-based fees, which are calculated as a percentage of assets under management. We also sell both admissions and sponsorship packages for our investment conferences and advertising on our websites and newsletters.
