On April 24, 2024, Schroders announced that after eight years in the top role, Peter Harrison signaled his intention to retire as the group's CEO in 2025. Harrison joined Schroders in March 2013 and became CEO in April 2016. Before his current role, he was the global head of investment. The group will now launch a thorough and extensive search for his successor. The board anticipates an orderly transition during 2025, and Harrison will remain as a director of the company throughout this period. The news on Harrison's retirement does not impact our view on the Schroders strategies we rate, and the Parent rating remains Above Average. We will continue monitoring the firm in terms of any announcements or decisions regarding the composition of the executive leadership team.
