Analyst Note

John Sheehan joined Osterweis Strategic Income on Jan. 2, 2024, as a portfolio manager alongside Carl Kaufman, Bradley Kane, and Craig Manchuck. A principal of Osterweis, Sheehan has been with the firm since 2018 and previously comanaged Osterweis Total Return, where he was responsible for investment-grade credit selection and allocation. Before joining Osterweis, he worked at Citigroup for more than 20 years, managing an investment-grade syndicate desk and advising issuers on accessing funding in the corporate bond market. He also oversaw Citigroup’s investment-grade sales strategy on the West Coast.
