Kovac, who has 17 years of industry experience but only three at the firm, had previously been an analyst covering financials and will continue to do so. His promotion to manager reflects his contributions to the team, the firm says. Because the move is minor, the strategy’s Morningstar Medalist Ratings remain unchanged.
