According to the Complaint, the Company made false and misleading statements to the market. Compass Materials overstated the likelihood it would win a renewal with the U.S. Forest Service for its aerial fire retardants for the 2024 season. The Company overstated to extent of testing that supposedly proved its fire retardant to be safe.
